In my book..which is nearly 50 years old Tim Tebow is one of the greatest college offensive players of all times. He right up there with Tommie Frazier of Nebraska in the mid '90s. He can do it all. And he's a winner. I don't think he's the typical NFL quarterback. He'd be a great running back or even a tight end.
Football analyst all say on ESPN that his best position in the NFL would probably be a H-Back since he has got that power running ability to break through the linemens and DB.
Personally I think time will tell if he would make a good NFL quarterback. Look at all the QB that won the Heisman in the past 10 years: Chris Weinke, Eric Crouch, Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, Jason White, and Troy Smith. I will even include Vince Young in there since he came close. Where all these guys now? They are all backups. Why people we never heard of before
(or didn't come close to winning anything like the Heisman)Jay Cutler, Tom Brady, Big Ben, Kurt Warner, Chad Pennington and many more... have all succeeded in the NFL and become good quarterbacks.
I don't have anything against Tebow, in fact I'm rooting and hoping he'll be a great NFL quarterback since he can make a difference and break the stereotypical NFL player model, but you have to look at the statistics and they are heavily against him.
I agree with Jeff that Bradford is too "skinny" to be effective enough in the NFL, I think if he does get picked it the team coach will probably make him gain a couple of pounds.
