Maybe so. But we always had the added security of the commander in chief unpredictability. Also the commander in chief is bumbling along upsetting friends and foes alike.

With Dems at the presidency. We might get someone worse than we lie, we cheat, we stole (though it is going to be pretty hard finding that person). Plus the fact Dems are more strategically much more coherent and purposeful.

Well what this election has taught me is that the American people s a whole are becoming progressively dumber and more evil then before.

Its incredible. I always knew American society as a whole pandered to stupidity and identity politics, but I thought after 230,000 dead, there would be a pretty significant change.

1) large private entities can move markets and therefore have outsized market influences as employers and price makers, some level of government oversight is needed.
2)USG strategy under Pompeo was to try to isolate the CCP from the Chinese private industry when they tried to sanction Chinese firms which had connections with the CCP which resulted in President Xi coming out with the policy that all Chinese companies needed a CCP member on the board, not unlike a commissar.

It is perfectly understandable why the CCP would need to keep a close eye on Chinese firms, especially if they had cucks like TikTok's founder at their helm rather than someone with real cojones like Ren ZhengFei. That's the sole reason the import/export law bans the export of sensitive Chinese technologies.
