I am hoping after this sea trial it will go direct to one of PLAN's base. Absence of crew/logistic support ship #88 or #89 in Changxing shipyard for the last few days is a good sign.

That's indeed the question ... one more (perhaps final) sea trial or relocation to the new home port and commissioning there?

It's still typhoon season so, while not impossible, I don't think it will be a sea trial.

Yankee said his sources showed that smoke had been coming out of the Fujian's chimney for a day.
Or maybe the chef on CV-18 is just making lunch for tomorrow.

Must say that I expected that Fujian would be commissioned by the parade. It seems to me that there's some lag in Fujian's entering in service. In general, man would expect much larger and faster focus on aircraft carrier construction and bringing them into service...

There are rumors that the Fujian ship will be commissioned on September 18, which is more representative and historically significant than September 3.
