Fujian didn't conduct any sea trials. Seems like they are moving her back to her berthing space after doing some tests.

Disappointing. What other tests could require moving it that much?
Does anyone know what‘s the average distance / safety margin required in front of the vessel for such tests?
if the deck is 20m high, it will take 2 sec to hit water. At 300km/h, the buggy will travel arround 160m.
Thanks a lot, So whatever they launch with the catapult, it will „fly“ roughly half the length of the carrier?
So from its current position, such tests could be done when that „swimming whatever“ (just lost the name in English) has been relocated?
But - and please my lack of understanding - will such tests usually be done before or after the first sea trials?
A flyover image captured when Fujian was being moved by tugboats. The second image shows the island is still being covered by scaffoldings, meaning there is still work to be done before sea trials can take place.
But as pointed out by @foolsball "The unobstructed version allows a relatively clear view of the orange objects on the pier and near the catapult amidships."
As such it looks indeed as if these "could" be preparations for the first catapult test.

I think this could kinda work as reference, it is a catapult test by the CdG this month. Around half the lenght of the ship seems about right judging by what seems the first splash if the cart bounced.
