Exactly! Such a work of art is a disproportionate copy. All we know now is that there has to be a model somewhere that the artist used as a template.

Or artist is requested to draw a carrier with certain features and he just find something on internet for reference.

Why?

island far back is advantageous for both flight deck control and flight deck operation. Island forward is better for ship handling. Flight deck operation is more demanding and good visibility is required more often.

With modern video cameras the advantage of island forward for navigation can be duplicated virtually More easily than advantage of island far back for flight operation.

So I expect all new angle deck aircraft carriers will adopt the island far back layout similar to the Ford class.
