I can imagine the problem Ford faces. The storage device has a voltage of high frequency, the catapults are linear motors which have resonant frequency. Disconnecting and connecting the two while there are electricity energy is very risky and tricky work, it is like switching on and off high power source in a live power grid, a fault can burn lots of things.

In other words when they tested the catapults they neglected to test it with its intended power system. That’s just bad test process. No wonder they encountered problems...

No, that is the first module up to flight deck height, which is somewhere in the middle of the hull.

Why is it pure fantasy? That's likely how the 004 will look like. We will find out in 5 years. Unless China is building 2 003s. If then, 10 years.

It's all good, except for the J-20 part. Why J-20 though? J-20's design is certainly not suited for aircraft carrier. Besides, why are there no J-15? J-15 is NOT bad, it is a bit big, but it would make a very good long range and capable heavy multi-role jet.

Oh, I didn't even notice the J-20. They were mostly JC-31s. I think I saw one J-20 on the deck after rewatching.
