They include the clipper bow. Waterline length is shorter than all the numbers postet in this thread.
Not ALL included the bulbous bow. My post #4696 very explicitly mentions the issue of the being careful to use the shadow, showing the bow, to try to estimate where the waterline bow starts, as opposed to the overhanging part of the bow.
Now, whether the measurement itself is correct is another matter - it likely can't be fully accurate due to poor resolution, and it was a fairly quick and rough measurement. But my measurement did purposefully take into the account the said issue and tried to compensate for it.
If I use 179 meters for 055 reference length and try to take into account the fact the shadow of the upper tip of the bow structure extrudes a few meters in front of the actual visible bow structure, suggesting that the waterline bow shadow should also be a few meters in front of the actual waterline bow point - then I get some 303 meters of waterline length.
But that too assumes there's not much overhang at the stern of the ship, over the actual waterline start of the stern. If there is, then the waterline length could be even less.
