Those images ARE better for measurements of hangar width but I am still getting fairly small numbers. One image yielded 26.6 m, while other, blurrier one, yielded 28 meters of width. I don't think the error in measurement could be very big anymore, though.
So i do think this carrier is going to have at least some sections of its hangar at that, fairly narrow figure of 26 to 27, maybe 28 meters of width. That doesn't mean, of course, most of the hangar won't be broader. Nimitz's hangar is visibly tapered, narrower both at its end and its beginning.
Attached here is nimitz hangar drawing. Compared to the widest point, the width at the dashed red line (leftmost yellow line) is roughly 28 meters wide.
Assuming the section we see on the 003 ending pretty much where that same line is on the drawing, just in front of the rear elevator, and assuming similar taper in hangar, it may mean the 003 hangar at its widest may reach over 32 meters in width. That's conjecture, of course, but it's still plausible, depending on exact shape of the whole ship.
