Nice joke. I am relieved that I am not the only one who cannot tell up from down in these most recent blurry pictures. I could deal with the low resolution data but those compression artifacts are just plain awful.

It could be this one and as explained by him, " there's still another narrower gap to the aft of the propulsion section adjacent to the stern (blurry line in the 10/17 pic, obstructed in the 10/9 pic), and it does seem more prominent from another perspective."

Still it looks like the structure is only half built no?
I wonder if they have placed the engines inside already or they are still waiting for those.

In my humble opinion, my carefully censored photo provides just as much information as from some of this thread's more recent satellite photographs.

The engine,generator, condenser, boiler will be built latter, piping, wiring all inside otherwise they have to reopen again. It is module construction with all the service support built in before they join together

Compared to the last clear picture of 09-10-2020, it seems that they have compressed all the modules except the front module (which by itself is a joining of 2 modules). However, if they already have been welded together, its not clear, and doubtful in such a short period of time.

What do you think? Given the latest - albeit quite low quality - images I tried to estimate the Type 003 aircraft carrier's waterline length (albeit minus the very front end):
If my baseline and calculation is not too far off I come to a length of about 285 m.

Any comments and especially corrections are welcome.

The determined 285 meters length in the waterline would be 15 meters more than Kuznetsov / Liaoning / Shandong. Sounds very realistic to me.
