Actually, theres not much that can be seen there at this point. The few modules that are there at this moment are all hidden in hangars. Not much to be gain with satellite pictures. When they start to actually assemble the hull, then we will see it.

I'm guessing PLAN will be getting their first straight decked CV in a few short years. Like myself and a few here have always predicted even way back yonder, their 3rd and first indigenous designed carrier will be a 'CATOBAR.. at least that is how I decipher 'new generation carrier" to be. It will be followed not to long after with a sister ship and then possibly their first CVN will come online.

Straight decked? You mean flat decked. Straight decked carriers went out of style in the early 1950s.

This SCMP article mentions that sources indicate that budget cuts and rising costs of the J-15 have slowed construction of the 002 carrier.

I really do not understand, why some still believe anything from her. :confused::(:eek:
IMO her reports are so bad - actually l would like to add a new level above the superlative for "worst" - and at best are useful as an amusement. :D
