Xi's plane has left Sanya, so that means the commissioning ceremony is over.

The Liaowang 1 ship was spotted near Shantou, Guangzhou sometime ago today after departing from Sanya sometime earlier.



The Chengdu gay guy also affirmed that the ceremony was held yesterday.

All I could say at this point is just be patient and wait for the news reporting at 7pm today, Beijing time (or within the next few days, though hopefully that won't be the case).

I'm watching the CCTV News now, but the brief introduction of the news in the first few minutes did not mention Fujian (but it mentioned holding meetings in Hainan).

I saw a rumor earlier that the news would come out on the 7th. It’s unconfirmed, of course, but it did turn out to be right that nothing has been announced today (so far).
