Soon they will take their second at sea trials, and they will run ...among other things....testing with those mockups which are probably mde to weight and size specs.

They will be moving them to the hanger, positioning them there, and bck up on deck and positionining them while underway.

Again with the same request! Can we please rename that thread? Type 001A is ridiculous. No other forum calls this carrier anymore Type 001A, we have plenty of evidence that it is in fact the Type 002 or at least carrier 002 so to be taken as a serious forum, we finally should face the facts:

There is and was never a Type 001A.

If you want to avoid the controversial name Type 002 - which seem to be not as important to Chinese followers as to some others including me - we could probably agree to the following names:

001 carrier - CV-16 - Operations, News & Discussions
002 carrier (STOBAR) - News & Discussions
003 carrier (CATOBAR) - News & Discussions

... and when there's more evidence, we could even split this into:

003 carrier (CATOBAR - Shanghai) - News & Discussions
004 carrier (CATOBAR - Dalian) - News & Discussions

Hey, finally You managed to post here ... therefore welcome on board.

However I must kindly ask you to accept for one speciality of this forum ... here are much more Westerners than native Chinese or at least Chinese speakers active and most of them are picking up each and every rumour like a kid picking up some sweets it found in the kitchen. Therefore You probably must be a bit more concrete with your comments since some - most often including myself - miss these subtle tones in reading between the lines, especially in rough translations.

Therefore you probably must show more clearly point to where's an issue or where's something wrong ... and where to look even better.

Concerning your hint: can this be seen as something will happen soon at Dalian?

Because we are impatient and the program numbers have nothing to do with the hull numbers. For example: Aircraft Carrier 001 has the hull number 16.

We should not yet use "17", "18" and "19" etc., that's probably true.
