Love the lady in the clothes shop telling the reporter the western countries are still " speading, spreading and spreading".
The reporter is a known sexpat "china watcher" who used to make a living doing the melissa chan schtick.
Still, even he had to grudgingly portray the drastic improvement in China compared to the UK.

Wow China's emissions per capita are actually higher than UK's and France. China does have a lot more industry and manufacturing which contributes towards higher nominal pollution. If it weren't for so much heavy industry in China, it's per capita emissions (not just CO2) would probably be around Brazil's level.
