It's just my thinking, I have no proof. Just consider if it's a plus or minus for him to be infected. If people finally find out it was fake but after the election, how many still care by that time?

Something else to consider is that this gives Trump a potential excuse to try to postpone the November elections, and if unsuccessful, that might then give him an excuse to contest the results of the election in front of a right wing super-majority US Supreme Court (If he is successful in replacing RBG before then) if it doesn’t go his way.

He doesn't have the self discipline to fake it (since that would require him staying away from golf, photo ops and rallies for at least two weeks).

Though if he only gets a mild case, there's a disturbingly high chance that he'll go golfing by Day 8 or something.

The 14-day quarantine time is for those who show no symptom and have not been tested. When he's tested positive, he can only come out of quarantine once his test becomes negative, however long that may be. Mostly from 3 weeks to several months, depending on how his body fights the infection. IF serious symptoms develop, no one knows how long that might be.

I think Biden better be careful because if he gets infected and if both Trump and Biden get hospitalized, then the USA is going to be in deep trouble since none of them have actually tried to fix all the problems that are currently there and getting worse. There is seriously no hope for these people cause almost every sensible person is fired from office (or not even there to begin with) and most of the people there now are cowards
