Pakistan has been more severely impacted by COVID-19 than India on a per capita basis and even removed their national lockdown sooner, but recent data from the past week indicates that Pakistan is now on a downward trend for both cases and deaths while the opposite has been ringing true for India. This is definitely great for them, however I am unable to figure out why that is currently given the very similar living conditions between Pakistan and India.

The question I hàve been meaning to ask you for quite some time and I hope the folks here will overlook the fact that I've gone off topic is ...What's happened to using stem cells for cloning replacement organs?
At one stage scientists from China were right into it, nowdays there does not seem to be much news on the subject.
This is the new normal. There is so much globalization and so much human population now. Every day there could be new viruses just like COVID. Hell, most Americans probably have it by now. Even if China has 0 cases from now (doubt), there is no way China will let a single flight into China from America.
It's not about how infective COVID is, it's always been about Man against Mother Nature. Man believes he is above Mother Nature. Man believes Mother Nature is unworthy, dirty. There is nothing special about COVID other than it is a product of Mother Nature just as Man is. The mentality of Chinese doctors is not right. Rather than trying to get rid of it, Man should live with it.

Americans lack the discipline of the Chinese. That's the first point. The second point is Americans don't really care much about virus. Chinese care about health much more than Americans do.
This is why China was very easily able to contain spread of SARS in 2003 and SARS 2 in 2020 but the US was not able to.
It is more due to the fact that the coronavirus has been politicized. After flaming the Chinese lock down and masks as grotesque, many politicians have downplayed the threat of coronavirus by believing the West is better equipped and has better healthcare system to handle the outbreak.
After the coronavirus showed them that the virus is not only lethal but very difficult to contain, many politicians double down instead of backing away from their initial beliefs. Now the election is looming. They don't have a choice but to sacrifice the well beings of the Americans so that they could claim business is back to normal.

Americans were told not to care about the virus not that they really don't care about the virus. In comparison, most European nations were able to contain the virus from surging again or at least slow down the resurgent.

The Americans hyped up COVID to portray China as the origin (which is not the origin) and therefore demonize Chinese as dirty. Keep in mind Trump is anti Communist and hates Chinese. China should not fall for their ploy. If I were Xi I don't mind COVID at all. I show the world Chinese are willing to live with Mother Nature. Man and COVID are children of Mother Nature. They will coexist for the rest of humanity.
