Waiting for the Anglo media to stop lying about China is like waiting for a pig to stop rolling in its own excrement.

Yup for 2 years no restriction babe. The whole world was burning and China was heaven, even the expats wanted to come in. Now of course you have the constant teeting.
They should absolutely not use those vaccines, not even for emergency use, given that China has access to better alternatives and the means to produce more than enough for the whole population.
Even if there is an issue of supply, it would be possible to contract other countries to help make China's own more effective vaccines.

They are trying to manage expectation so people wouldn't rush to the hospitals. Same thing happened in Japan and Hong Kong when they decided to reopen. However, it is the speed of the spread of the virus determines if the Chinese health care system could cope with the virus or not. Except the vaccination of elderly, nothing else really matters if they couldn't contain how fast the virus spread throughout general population.
The first wave is always the most problematic as it would kill the most vulnerable. After that, the reinfection would only result 10-20% of deaths than first wave causes.
