Huh? New York Times says covid cases are dropping

"...As of Tuesday night, virus cases in the United States had averaged more than 101,000 a day for the past week, a 24 percent decrease from two weeks ago. Reported new deaths are down 12 percent, to 1,829 a day. Hospitalizations have decreased 20 percent and are averaging below 75,000 a day for the first time since early August,"

It is more or less the 2 month-cycle of covid. The mortality and hospitalization rate would have been lower if the US vaccination rate is higher. However, vaccines wane much quicker than expected and variants are making vaccines much less effective.

Im just wondering whether the anti vaxers med/science arguments against the vaccines in this article are flawed?

If you think about it, anti-vaxers has a reason to be paranoid if you understand their knowledge of American history which includes:
1. Purposely infected natives americans tribes with small pox in an attempt to kill them ALL
2. Experimented on the general american population by secretly exposing them to nuclear radiation, virus, bacteria, chemicals etc
3. Tested nuclear and other dangerous armaments in the pacific likely exposing island inhabitants to dangerous fallouts
4. Mysterious illness among solders that were vaccinated with dozens of injections for the iraq/afgan wars

the list goes on and on... Americans are generally not reminded about this in any news or even correctly taught about it (it might appear in 1 sentence in a history book but it will only be discussed about it in school if you are lucky to get a paranoid pro-gun 'be scare of the gov' history teacher), but we sure hear about June 4th pro democracy crackdown in CHina every year instead! :)

BPOM chief Penny Lukito said the protein-recombinant vaccine, given three times in a three-month span, has an efficacy rate of about 81%, with 77.47% efficacy against the Delta variant, lower than other variants, she said.

This seems like a pretty cool vax. But unfortunately it's so little used. It's way better than inactivated IMO.

Just in.
In addition, Merck molnupiravir had shown no "significant efficacy" against moderate COVID-19 cases.

So the Indians are claiming the opposite, when it was shown this drug has some potential. The success of this drug is actually good for Indian itself, since India still has a hard time containing covid cases.
