Adjacent to the testing hall is a big room filled with servers and computers. Plenty of westerners from various contractors working there. Highlights how reliant the C919 is on foreign technology. Also near this hall is a big theatre for visiting dignataries, where non other than Xi Jinping sat to watch a promotional video about the programme.Re-posting a lost image...

CJ-1000 has successfully completed a test, where a blade separation during max-thrust state is simulated to verify the ability of the engine enclosure to safely contain the failed blade. Cross-posting from the engine development thread, since this is just as relevant here.

Might just be the camera lens. A320 comparison looks to be shot with a wide angle.
