What part are you talking about exactly, and what do you think the role of the specific part is?

Given I'm a moderator, I have a button or two more at my disposal, which is why I want to know what they were thinking.
That is exactly why I asked the question -- because if they are referring to the part of the tail that was discussed on the last page or so, that thing isn't an APU exhaust.
It's a test aircraft specific tail chute, and is not present on regular production/service aircraft, and it was even discussed on the last page.
I wanted to know if they were ignorant because they hadn't actually read the last page of posts (or didn't know the difference between test aircraft vs production aircraft), or if they were being disingenuous.
If you check his posting history then it is pretty obviously the latter.
Honestly, these days it's hard to tell, and I prefer to give someone an opportunity to explain themselves if it's an interaction I haven't had before
