by the way, just incredible demonstration here of how much destruction we need to do to ship enough coal to power the energy grid. Solar can be transported so much more easily.
Eh, batteries are also kinda necessary though.

I was answering the post, about how solar panels only used 1 container ship, while LNG and coal needed like a factor of 30-40 times more container ships.
And I don't think it's a fully fair comparison, since solar panels also need batteries to be able to, supply stable power.
(Although, also think some baseload powerplants are needed, like nuclear in addition).

zhuhai government already came out with their own more specific guidance. If more cities in China can enact similar measures, it would be really great for solar uptake and power generation.
