To my and possibly other Chinese defence enthusiasts' dismay, CJDBY is closing down for a month (possibly more) due to government pressure/investigation. Looks like we need to rely on FYJS for defence related news for the time being.

oh no, i'm sad about that. CJDBY is my favorite, they are one the best Chinese military sites out there. I hope they will be back.

Although I've never posted there before, but CJDBY is one of my favorite military site as well for new Chinese military news and pictures. They got lots of original pictures and "leak" information regarding PLA new toys all the time.
But I thought it was offline for a month due to software upgrade or something. Didn't know it was due to government pressure. That's the first time I heard about it.
Since I don't know, I need to ask...who's government? thanks..

Wasn't it being punished for spreading various rumors of the Tianjin explosion? Others got taken down indefinitely.

Oh dear........that is sad.......as a large percentage of our photographs originate from that site!
I just tried to go there and this is what I saw..
And that was the very first time I've ever attempted to visit that site...
