IGN give Wuchang 8/10 and the other review site also around that as well.

Seem like a good follow up of Black Myth Wukong to establish Chinese presence in AAA / AA gaming market.

Fun Fact: The developer Lenzee is based in the same office park in Chengdu, Gazelle Valley, as the Nezha studio.

Gazelle Valley also hosts a bunch of other famous Chinese gaming and animation studios like the one behind Year Hare Affair

Probably your standard unreal engine 5 issues?

It seems like even 4090 GPU cannot run the game smoothly

Also the game content is controversial among Chinese players

The game publisher lowered the price at the first day on Steam for every region but China region

People who bought the deluxe edition, find out that the deluxe edition has the exact same content as the standard edition

This went under the radar, but here's another Jin Yong game. Not to be confused with Tencent's "Code: To Jin Yong". This is completely different.

Heroes of Jin Yong By AI Create Entertainment

A new big budget AAA Chinese game is in the works.
- It uses Unreal Engine 5 and it looks better than Black Myth: Wukong (in-engine)
- Sony already snatched the game, it will be available for PS5/PC
- The release date is TBA, but i expect to hear more things about it next year
- It is an Open World Action-RPG with a map of 960km²
( I am not sure if it's a China Hero Project game or a situtation like Phantom Blade 0, i will provide an update when i will gather more info).

The developer and publisher made some very obvious and simple-to fix mistakes.

Like naming your game 明末 when it's not very relevant to your game and only brings drama. Should have just used Wuchang as the CN title and only use the time period for inspiration without mentioning it like what was done Sekiro.

UE5 optimization on different PC has been a known challenge. They should have also put out a demo months before release.

The pricing issues and deluxe item bugs are just CN players being children. Only places cheaper than CN are low purchasing power countries like Ukraine or Argentina.
