Wow, more news today than usual and this one is got me quite excited. Have any of you guys played Squad yet? If you had been with Squad in 2020 then you would know the Devs planned to add a "Pan-Asian" faction to the game but we all knew it was gonna be China. This plus the large Chinese player base as well as Tencent investing in the company kinda puts a Chinese faction as a must-have. Well, it just got leaked and it looks pretty good.

My only gripe is that it's not the new modernized PLA since the game is supposed to take place a couple of years from now.

Last sunday Microsoft had their summer press conference.
Team ninja revealed their new game named Wolong: Fallen Dynasty a sort of soulsborne game
taking place during the three kingdom time period.

Is it me or can't Japanese game studios not really keep up with western game studios on the graphics front?
Im sure Team Ninja will ace the style, environment and fighting mechanics.

This is not necessarily a bad thing, because the new generation of light weapons of the PLA has not been fully equipped.
Considering that PLA is largely ignored in modern war games, every game with PLA presence is invaluable.

Wargame:red dragon is the most outstanding game, but I still can't understand Eugen's design concept. In fact, there is still room for improvement in Chinese design.

Unfortunately, Eugen's focus is on WARNO.Moreover, there is no East Asian Army.

We can only put our hope on the future "broken arrow", but I don't know if China will be the DLC camp.
