A better look at the internal weapons bay of the FH-97A CATOBAR model + its munitions on display.

So increadibly streamlined, and with such tight seams. Remarkable the progress in production quality over the years.

Looks like 12 drones displayed, presumably this is how many it can carry. It seems this is also a drone carrier. The weapons bay seems much deeper than J-20 and the guided bombs perhaps shows how deep it is as they all have the around the same height.

I dont really get this FH-97A...it almost certainly is not intended for foreign market, since it is supposed to be cutting edge. at the same time if it is supposed to be equipped by the PLA, then why would it be publicly displayed like this? I guess this is a design that was not accepted by the PLA?

Internal weapons bay (IWB) illustrations from academic paper(s) which are likely to represent that of the GJ-11. Posted by @鎏鎏岁月 on Weibo.

Nice images, but is there a reason we think it would represent that of GJ-11?

In theory it's certainly possible, but for all we know it could represent any other variety of UCAV or CCA.

It's not impossible for GJ-11 to carry PL-15s (which they are clearly depicting, though they could represent any other sort of BVRAAM generically), but its primary payload is more likely to be A2G rather than A2A. OTOH, such a loadout would be somewhat expected of a relatively low end A2A oriented UCAV/CCA.
