Under development? Who knows but three if I recall have been built with jet powered engines. Runway tests at least. Look back in the thread.

The second UAV in the pic looks quite unconventional. Good to see them doing runway tests. Thanks for posting the pictures.

not sure about the first one, but the last 2 are old pictures from CAC.

UAV demonstration in Lianyungang, east China's Jiangsu Province, Sept. 23, 2012. China's State Oceanic Administration verified and accepted a pilot program of using pilotless aircraft for marine surveillance. The program will be carried out in the hope of upgrading the state's ability on marine surveillance.

These look more like hobbyist model aircraft to me, but having a hobbyist community interested in related topics is an integral building block for an industry to build the real deal.

Maybe Apple should have bought and used some of these before they rolled out their new Maps.
