Very interesting, though some more skeptical people would probably challenge that the swarms themselves aren't shown but only their control console, which could be done without the swarm itself in flight.

I personally think it's legitimate and it displays actual in flight activities, but I would caution people to not use the video as is in other communities elsewhere because you can expect what the immediate counters would be.

I think with drones, urban warfare is going to be revolutionized in a matter of years. You'd have drones light/heavy quadcopter drones with guns with IR cameras guided by bigger UAVs with long range FLIRs to guide the drones to more specific areas of interest. Swarms of them would swoop in and knock out anything that moves, ideal for scenarios like Bakhmut, basically, anything above ground would be swept and they can have a persistent presence.

True, but the drone swarm itself might actually look quite messy without the trajectory lines, and they could be much further apart than what the UI is showing, so it might be very hard to capture the whole picture.

Impressive control logic nevertheless, I wonder if it's some sort of decentralized planning built within the swarm instead of having everything controlled via a ground station.

I have nothing against the trajectory lines or the UI, but rather that just showing the console/UI without representations of the actual drones in flight is going to mean that there will inevitably be people who will challenge this video's veracity.

Certainly if they wanted to capture the a large portion of this test visually in flight, they would probably need coordination of multiple cameras both on the ground and airborne and perhaps with the UAVs themselves having formation lights for visual identification.

Needless to say, that would add a bit of complexity which perhaps they felt was unnecessary. But the end outcome is still that this video's showcase is conditional
