Would be interesting to see if designated helicopter will be used as forward command and control for UAV in the future. With the capacity to land at remote location and be near the battle ground it could be interesting. I would see a Z-18 with multiple console in that role.
“The Indonesian Air Force is currently undergoing a re-equipment programme with the aim of building up a qualitative force to defend its territory and counter an increasingly assertive China.”
Knowing that they will likely switch to Turkish drones in the near future ,it is still a mystery that why would any country actually believe that some MALE drones would be useful against serious military forces , it’s like what people think about bombers before WW2, or torpedoes until it’s irrelevant . Do humans ever learn?“The Indonesian Air Force is currently undergoing a re-equipment programme with the aim of building up a qualitative force to defend its territory and counter an increasingly assertive China.”

Yes. That's exactly what's going on. Australian armement splurge is not a big deal for China but it is a huge deal for Malaysia, Indonesia, etc... I used the word splurge because Australia has no threats against itself that requires that level of spending. I think MALE drones are sensible for Indonesia considering the US and Australia has a history of supporting insurgencies in Indonesia. The mouth talks of the Chinese but the heart thinks of the Aussies.
