About this drone, I have raised a question earlier and I raise it again.

The CETC solution is just the EW suit or the whole drone package itself? Apparently the JY-300 TianShao drone is CETC product.

Isn't it better if CETC incorporated the EW suit inside a drone like Rainbow series?

I don't know the answer to that, but CH series are from CASC, so maybe CETC felt vertical integration is best for this project at the moment. Also, if I recall correctly, JY-300 is more of a first try iteration/tech demonstrator, so it doesn't preclude a future iteration of the suite from being installed on other drones, whether they be from CASC or Chengdu.

It’s been said before, but most of these drone companies offer no real innovation or any added capability with their only selling point being price. all their doing is muddying the market and swindling govt grant money.

Not exactly. For starters only China has these types of UAVs (many that I'm sure is in this list you hint at). They are innovative since no other nation has produced these types. Find me some examples that precede these Chinese ones. Remember that many shown here have been around for years and years and years and years and years.

Yes many use similar designs and layouts (which were Chinese pioneered in the first place or roughly of equal time as other analogues from elsewhere).

Government doesn't finance their development unless it's a state owned corp that developed it. If they procure one then they would have evaluated a need and tested it. So no money is being swindled since no money is exchanged between the government and a private developer until procurement.
