Some observations on the new twin-vertical stabilizer aircraft, by @彩虹熊_白玮 on Weibo.

Roughly translated:
After roughly tracing around the aircraft, it feels like this aircraft resembles that patent design from a while back.
The vertical stabilizers and canopy features are basically the same (as the patent design), except that the nose rib seems to be less pronounced.
The fuselage looks to be wider and flatter, which is a complete departure from the L-15.
The canopy is also flattened to reduce visibility in pursuit of performance.
And with the wingtip mounts, it seems that this aircraft closer to a combat aircraft than a mere trainer aircraft.

TL; DR - Provided his observations are accurate, then this is less likely to be "just a twin-tailed JL-10", and more likely to be a brand-new JL-XX (or even JJ-XX).
