Would be interesting to know if it is for an export customer?

PS: Maybe the first for the UAE?

Probably. Here's that L15 with refueling probe spotted at Hongdu last year.

Yes, it's the same photo from December but cropped in.
是的,这是 12 月的同一张照片,但被裁剪了。
Isn't that the same picture as posted in #2049, but cropped in?
那不是 #2049 中发布的同一张图片,但被裁剪了吗?

No big deal, but I wonder when it was actually taken in that case.
没什么大不了的,但我想知道在那种情况下它实际上是什么时候被拍的。
I posted this photo on a Chinese website, and this blogger used my cropped version.屏幕截图 2025-01-03 194129.png

Uruguay update - new government will assume office soon and relations with China will remain very good.

Super Tucano contract for 6 aircraft signed and first delivery end of this year if I'm not mistaken.

Not yet clear which unit will receive ST and this takes us to the still possible interest in Chinese aircraft. Esc. 1 was a Pucara Unit (retired 2017) and Esc. 2 is the A-37 unit. A-37's likely will retire, so jet aviation might be over in the Fuerza Aérea Uruguaya. New government has not said anything but in my opinion might be open to a good offer from China. FAU would probably want to not lose jet aviation so K-8, JL-9 and L-15 might be if interest.

Highly unlikely any western aircraft (Leonardo 346 for example) would be acquired as an A-37 replacement due to cost

If Uruguay wants the cheapest possible jet powered aircraft and stay with 'western' equipment, probably the best bet would be the L-39NG which inexplicably went back into production again after a 27 year old 'break'.
