Add to that different engine L15B is with after burner. L15 is with no afterburner. The L-15 version is powered by a pair of Ivchenko Progress AI-222K-25 jet engines, while the L-15B uses the AI-222K-25F.

Yes and yes Motor Sich is moving part of the plant to Chongqing I bet they will localized the AI-222K-25F in the future in joint venture with Beijing Tianjiao Aviation Industry
