Chinese Stryker?

Looked at the article again. The max road speed is 100km/h from 300kw powerpack and range of 1000 km. The article mentioned: new suspension/drive train, improved creature comforts for a more comfortable ride/less crew fatigue, more crew internal protection measures (but did not mention armored bulkheads), anti-mine measures (survive 6 kg land mine), heavy use of CCD sensors, modular design, built-in battle-internet support, anti-radar/infrared coating optional, anti-molotov measures, remotely operated turret.

I have a 360. Even though the graphics combined with HD are outrageously good, they simply can produce something this realistic. Maybe PS3

I dont think its a copy. It does look freakishly modern but just because its modern, doesnt mean its western based.It doesnt look like the Pirhana or the stryker. In fact I dont feel that it looks similar to anything except an redesigned type 92. Thats just my opinion.

What about the window of the driver? It seems unmodern to you? At least I have noticed that the current trend in wheeled ACPs windows is going to more protective type similar that in this new chinese vehicle. In fact mane new systems like the Romanian/turkish NR-94 and our AMV have similar type of window arragment.

Damn modern APCs IFVs an other amourd..... used to have piroscopes for better protection.
And the tires are the gone if you shoot at them the tirers of the BOXER wil pump automatickly up.
The BOXER build by Germany and holland is better by far i know for sure.
A 33 ton beast.

Every weapon China is turning out today is more modern than the previous. Why would China spend millions of dollers to research an old junk?

Do you have proof what tires those are?! Do you know what tires Chinese APCs use?! THATS RIGHT! YOU DONT KNOW! How do you know these tires dont have the same feature as the "BOXER"?! How do you know if the new Chiense machine isnt better than your so called unbeatable BOXER?! We just saw the outside! Do you know whats on the inside? If you want to talk about how germany and holland are the best, go to a german or dutch forum!

Its one thing to talk about Chinese hardware weaknesses and shortcomings...

its another thing in making European hardware rather exagerated and invincible.

Chinese and European standards are different...Chinese designers and military leaders are not stupid...China and Europe has not fought a war...the Chinese equipement used by Iraqis, Vietnamese that got 'wiped out' were of OLD designs....you have absolutely no proof that China's things are simply 'incapable'.

I don't see you complain against Japanese or SOuth Korean military designs. What weaknesses do they have? Hello Demian...South Korea still uses M113 copies, Godsake, they are obsolete!!!! Hell, Japan's latest IFV has no 40mm gun like CV90, that is obsolete too!!!! BMP-3 is OBSOLETE, even BMP-4 is OBSOLETE (even though the latter has not been made yet)...thats your claims.

Would you regard your 'Boxer' superior to US Stryker? I tell you, that invincible boxer of yours will also crack open if it drove over an IED.

Obsolete or not to your standards, windows or periscopes...

I appreciate and take pride of a military that has relatively few luxuries compared to the Western nations, that has gone through decades of hell and foreign invasion, and whos military has only really sped its modernisation in the last 15 years for such a huge army.

I take pride of a Chinese air force that has struggled but at least made great strides in its indigenous combat aircraft programmes...unlike the Dutch that has only cooperated with European and AMerican projects to achieve JSF and F-16...gee the Netherlands has little home grown things...
