The Japanese economy has been driven to such a state that if anyone in Japan were to actually receive 50 yen per post, they'd be making vastly more on an hourly basis than all the salary men and office ladies you see commuting to work via subway.
For most Westerners this is actually a bad association. Hassan isn't well liked in the mainstream. For Hassan's and the Left movement in the West, this is good. They were already pre-disposed to be more neutral on China.
He looks based, so probably mostly positive soft power.

If it gets American racists upset, then it's a good thing. They want people they abuse to be masturbating to the US. They're the people you see complain about anything good being reported about China. It's called news and we're suppose to believe Americans when they say they're not biased? Why do you think the news media these days can't say anything good about China? It says how much the West lies to their own people. Maybe it's because of people like Hasan Piker or he's a symptom of it, China hasn't had such a positive bump maybe... ever. You can't please them all despite how the racist are the ones that are unhappy and that's really a good thing. You're not going to be pleasing both sides and the anti-China side is losing this battle.
