That ship design there look crazy. The CIWS there might increase the radar cross section. But it might sound paradoxical, but when you have extremely low radar cross section, the ship betrays itself by being a black hole in a background of sea clutter. You need some cluttered radar reflection to blend with the sea clutter background.

What is there to talk about. We have long ago lost count on the pile of sanctions coming from that direction. Only sanctions that have real economical, industrial and technological consequences like for example semiconductors are worth our attention.

The glory of Chinese shipbuilding. Large fleet of 23,000 TEU Jacques Saade class containerships dwarfing everything. If you look harder you may find 003, the hull seems all welded now with no gap. You can see bits and pieces of tankers and LNG carriers under construction. LNG carriers are among the top end in commercial shipbuilding.

Sanction of what? ...... I don't believe there is any material US component used by them. It may end up the US couldn't buy any competitive ships .. good luck with that
The only US thing I could positively identify from the US is the use of Sailor SATCOM, and even PLAN vessels have this. This is for marine internet and TV. This sounds like something that can easily be replaced, or granted export licenses for as it is non-military.
