Who's next after Micron?More bans are coming. Now even the unlicensed A800s may be banned from exported to China. Seems like a full on tech blockade

I mean, might as well be Nvidia and AMD, since they'd be the ones banned.Who's next after Micron?

How do the latest Huawei chips match up with Nvidia products?Great news.
Now tencent, bytedance & inspur will have no excuse to use Nvidia products. I am kind of sick of these Chinese tech not using Huawei ai chips because they don't want to use their competitors products. This should leave them with no choice.
SMIC can do 14 or even 7nm albeit in not very high yields.More importantly, at which fabs does Huawei make its chips? Can GPUs be made with 28nm technology?
Changing the Chinese AI ecosystem from CUDA to a more open source one using alternatives like OpenCL or SysCl to break the vendor lock-in nightmare that Nvidia has over the AI world will not only benefit China but the entire world.Great news.

The first DLP
To provide higher efficiency in performance and energy, domain-specific design starts to draw a great attention. In 2014, Chen et al. proposed the first DLP in the world, DianNao (Chinese for "electric brain"), to accelerate deep neural networks especially. DianNao provides the 452 Gop/s peak performance (of key operations in deep neural networks) only in a small footprint of 3.02 mm2 and 485 mW. Later, the successors (DaDianNao, ShiDianNao, PuDianNao) are proposed by the same group, forming the DianNao Family
