Looks like its in an anechoic chamber. I'm guessing this is to test it's apparent size to radar? Didn't think that was a thing for IFVs.Some magazine scans of another NORINCO remote weapons station. This one has been seen before at previous Zhuhai Airshows.

It's probably for electromagnetic compatibility and emissions testing.
When the customer wants M230 chain gun...A new lightweight remote weapons station with an 'intelligent' fire control system, seen here mounting a 30mm cannon. Suitable for both vehicles and (unmanned) patrol boats.
