Honestly, I don't know if Chongqing East (DONG Station - per Ryan "Chinese" Trump) Railway Station is even necessary. Chongqing already has the North Station and West Station. Both of which are superstations capable of handling both conventional and high speed trains. The smaller Shapingba Station mainly serves HSR traffic to Chengdu, but it is an extremely convenient station. The old station at Caiyuanba is being rebuilt to expand capacity.

Do you know if China now makes her own wheel bearings for high speed train ? I know they have been relying on imports from
Japan/Germany in the past.

Do you know if China now makes her own wheel bearings for high speed train ? I know it was one of the very few remaining high speed rail product China has been importing from Japan/Germany/dutch
