Man the 052DL is damn close to perfection for its weight class.
Is there news of anyone buying the 052DE from the expo?

Russia is the one that really should be buying it.
No. Especially after that particular video they showed in Zhuhai Expo 2022, where they demonstrated a MiG-29 sinking a 052D using a Russian AShM. /sarc

Besides, they already have their Project 22350M Super Gorshkov planned for construction starting 2024, which is basically a destroyer-lite itself.

Rumour is that the PN is going to get it, it will be "creative" financing as the PN does not have that kind of money, think along the lines of the Sub deal and you will see how.

In all honesty, considering these are very new, unproven ships with zero history in the PLAN nor the coast guard, would there actually be a market for it? So far, all successfully exported ships have a history of PLAN use. This feels like even less than a minimum viable product

What do you mean? They both look like they're based on existing hulls and mature technologies. Propulsion, sensors, and other subsystems –– which make up the vast majority of the cost of a ship –– are almost certainly variants of existing systems. I highly doubt the Chinese would create completely clean-sheet designs for export. That would mean abandoning the scale of economy already achieved within existing supply chains, which would make the ships unnecessarily expensive and quite possibly unprofitable.

I agree on the reusing of existing technologies, but I am not sure about the "existing hulls". Not claiming to know all classes outside the main thread ones, but I see a slight resemblance of the swordfish side profile with the 056A (except the smokestack which I cannot see from the brochure from any angle) but where could they have based the OPV from? Not to mention the dimensions/displacement seem a bit far from any in service modern ship to my knowledge.

They are likely based on coast guard OPVs.
