Huang Xiaoyun is surreal, she together with Hua Chenyu and Zhou Shen is what gravitates me to C-pop. I was introduced to them by my Children and watching The Singer from 2018 onward, I knew Chinese Culture will endure and is having its renaissance. I always told my children that they will be living in a world that is completely different from mine, A world were being Chinese is beautiful, respected and awe and they should work hard to maintain it , respecting our ancestors who sacrifice their lives for you to enjoy its benefit.
An Addendum, many people compare her with Charice Pempengco for me being a Filipino Chinese I grief that she went to the US to further her career had been Wokenized, NOW Jake Zyrus is going Nowhere its (neither a she or a he) career is going nowhere while that of Huang Xiaoyun is rising.
