Wolf Warrior 2 got the red blood flowing but this movie wasn't any Top Gun. As soon as I saw that they were pitting the PLAAF against terrorists, I lost a lot of interest. You're putting an armed SEAL against a skinny crazy hobo. Finally, they had a mission where where you needed to evade radar and instead of sending J-20 to do the job, they decide to fly J-10Bs at night through a mountain range hugging the terrain by 30m. I don't understand that. Then, the PLA came in destroying armored vehicles, striking facilities of importance but somehow, they missed the terrorists' fully loaded fully fueled Mirage sitting on the tarmac ready to take off. Not my favorite film.
