The Royal Thai navy is pushing to make yearly installments on the two [Yuan Class S26T] submarines ordered from China. The first payment was due in 2020 however due to the Naval budget being slashed by [33%] and government funds being directed towards the Covid response effort the Thai government is now pushing towards renegotiating the deal towards making the installments over the next seven years.

A bit hyperbolic for a button, but I think it basically wipes all data stored on the tank BMS, in case the crew needs to abandon the tank(Basically a glorified reset button like the ones found on your phones).

Maybe they could have used charges to physically blow up the tank, but it can’t hurt to ensure the data is completely wiped by pushing the button, right?

Do the button have protective cap to prevent accidental self destruct? If not, then the positioning of the button would make me pretty nervous if I'm the crew.

Yeah the icon looks similar to the start button on a computer. Seems like a poor design choice.
