Tigray rebels captured at least one Type-89 from Ethiopian forces.
The Royal Thai navy is pushing to make yearly installments on the two [Yuan Class S26T] submarines ordered from China. The first payment was due in 2020 however due to the Naval budget being slashed by [33%] and government funds being directed towards the Covid response effort the Thai government is now pushing towards renegotiating the deal towards making the installments over the next seven years.

What's up with the "Self Destruction" button???
A bit hyperbolic for a button, but I think it basically wipes all data stored on the tank BMS, in case the crew needs to abandon the tank(Basically a glorified reset button like the ones found on your phones).What's up with the "Self Destruction" button???
Maybe they could have used charges to physically blow up the tank, but it can’t hurt to ensure the data is completely wiped by pushing the button, right?
Do the button have protective cap to prevent accidental self destruct? If not, then the positioning of the button would make me pretty nervous if I'm the crew.
Yeah the icon looks similar to the start button on a computer. Seems like a poor design choice.

the button looks like its covered by a partially cut out cover, in order to punch it you'll have to snap the small metal connectors holding the cover in place over the button. I imagine this may take some force or even the use of a small tool.
