According to a Chinese military magazine, the new ST-3 can also do indirect fire support which makes it more versatile than the previous version. Also note that the ST-3 appears to have a commander‘s sight, a nice improvement.
Nigerian VT-4 and SH-5 in action. This person's twitter is good for seeing Chinese weapons in action since Nigeria has lots of them.
Note however, that you shouldn't believe about most of the things they claim since there's a lot of misinfo, probably due to shoddy research from their part.

i did not know that the Nigerians had control of the VT-4. I'm not sure if it is really a 'counter-terrorism' deterrent though
