Interesting, and maybe I‘m wrong, but doesn‘t it look like still to be yellow/green?

If indeed still in primer, it suggests to be still a development aircraft maybe in trial or OPEVAL than already an operational one?

Don't think you are wrong. Looks like brownish camo canvas on the fuselage and engine, like those we have observed frequently on other PLAAF airccraft.

Normal primer paint color - Green/Yellow.
