How do you deal with the reflection from the fan blades?
I think he's talking about stealth drones with this level of coordination, not these types of quadcopters.
Of course the fan blades could also be made of meta material, but I'm not that knowledgeable about it's affectiveness.

Do plastic rotor blades of drones reflect radar waves?

Yes, plastic rotor blades of drones can reflect radar waves. While plastic itself is not a strong conductor, the rotation of the blades creates a phenomenon known as the micro-Doppler effect. This effect causes frequency modulations in the radar echoes due to the movement of the blades.

In essence, the rotating blades modulate the incident radar waves, making it possible for radar systems to detect and identify drones based on these unique signatures.

this is more a showcase of the ability to coordinate drones. Of course in battlefield, you will uses stealthier materials like the ones that Kuangchi produces.

For drone swarming over long distance, AI control and coordination is pretty important

Some specs on the CH-YH1000 unmanned transport:
– Max take-off weight: 2,300kg
– Ceiling: 8,000m
– Payload capacity: >1,000kg
– Capable of ultra-short takeoff and taking off from unprepared runways.

First flight is scheduled before the end of this year.

Two models from the Changying (长鹰) family have conducted maiden flights on the same day: Changying-5E and Changying-9A. I don't have any information on these drones, but according to their developers, their competitive advantages are their low cost and ease of use. Not sure if these are aimed at military or civilian market.
