It is a report from "
", the recent one (9th) just happened in May. The report was based on personal interview of the company who made it. So it should 100% accurate.
Here is a highlight. The underlined texts are where Stephen made mistakes.

- The max range is 150 meters (instead of 1000 meter range) in the configuration for a personal weapon. See the screen dump.
- The laser spot (at 150 meters) is 6 mm.
- The max range can reach 5000 meters if it is vehicle or ship mounted. They did not show that configuration.
- The representative claims close to 10,000 shots per charge (instead of 1000 shots) in the personal configuration..
- The weapon can shot a 2 shot bursts.
- There is video demonstration of the weapon burning through clothes and carboard in seconds.
I think, for the purpose of army infantry, the battery (energy) is not an issue (apparently 10,000 shots is overkill), but the size of the light source and lens (to extend range) are the challenge to make it function as a infantry weapon (like a snipper at 1000 meters). 150 meters is still too short, only beyond 400 is useful.
