Is That a pla vehicle?

It does look a bit uncommon. Heavy turret and gun, a chunky hull, yet just 6 wheels? Even the tyres somehow don't look quite as off road capable as they usually are on multiwheeled combat vehicles.

Is it maybe a gun-mortar?

Minor differences, but it's clearly a VN22 assault gun variant. Export product.
