maybe 2 HJ-13 & 4 unguided 93mm rocket, the export turret has this configuration
Why do the sides of both airborne APC & IFV have big studs popping up? Are these mounting points for side armor/floatation panels?High-resolution images of the new PLAAF airborne IFV.
Prob for tie down on drop pallets or in the bay of a cargo plane
Out of curiosity, considering we haven't seen ZBL-19 with APS, could PLA decide to transfer this turret from the airborne IFV onto ZBL-19 chassis? Especially as ZBL-19's design freeze most likely preceed the extra learnings from recent combat.
Are those really necessary just for tie downs? Because that's certainly a unique design choice, considering other designs just use the regular tow eyes as tie downs.
