Why do both the tank, IFV and this all have the same(?) EO ball, could it actually be a small anti-drone laser? No other IFV/tank has this feature to my knowledge.

They are probably CITV (considering they are mounted on the same overall position as the remote weapon station) -- and the fact that they share the same EO ball would be reflective of wanting to standardize sensor (or at least sensor housings) across their AFV fleet.

There's no reason to think it's for a laser considering a CITV should be a higher basic priority.
