Gun looks like a regular 30mm air burst.
There's a hole on the right side of the front turrent, just next to the gun axis, suspect to be the eject opening and that's a typical character for a cta gun. The hole is about 70mm in diameter which is close to the NATO 40 cta ammo size.

The whole thing is very strange. And it physically preventing the turret from rotating indicates the vehicles aren´t serially produced so when its all finished who knows what it may be. One option I can think off if that space isn´t meant for vertically launched missiles is that the battery system of the vehicle would be placed there.
There is a small gap between the box and turret, the turret is almost a perfect octagon so won't need a lot of space for rotation, and you can see the detector module of APS are placed above the hight of the box to prevent blocking turret rotation

Just judging by eye I don´t see enough clearance. A top down shot will clarify this.
