Chinese Economics Thread

Australia is a captured state; captured in the sense that the intelligence agencies really run the show and those intelligence agencies have pledged allegiance to the US military/CIA. It certainly doesn't help also that Australia is incorporated in New York.

Therefore, it doesn't matter what you do, sweet economic deals etc; the only way to get Australia to not be an arse is to destroy or break the link between the intelligence eminence grise agencies and the leadership of australia.

I think the only way to deal with australia is to cripple its economy completely so no matter what they do they will ceased to be a threat to China, one less bug to worry about in the quad alliance

First, not as many American companies moved their plants out of China as both American and Indian strategists had estimated.

Second, those companies that did leave China did not relocate to India.

Third, India has weaker and less

matters, although it is true that periodic elections are held and transfers of power are made smoothly after a general election.

Fifth, it is more complicated for a business to exit India than to enter the country.

Not surprising @localizer. We discussed this and I said that much.
Vietnam makes much more sense than India as a destination for industry. If they move outside China at all.
It makes no sense to have assembly in India when you want to send products to North America and the parts are produced in East Asia.
Might as well produce it in Mexico.

That's why I consider a long China India enmity especially in economic and commerce as an ultra stupid decision for India part, sorry for that. Consider China Japan enmity during 2012 Senkaku crisis. While there were some heat, China Japan trade and commerce keep flowing and growing. Now the economic dependency prevents Japan to antagonize China too harshly. Seems Japan at least learn from Australia China trade contention.
Vietnam also realize this, that's why even though their enmity is deeper and more fundamental there is almost no economic and commerce limitation.
Ultimately I put much more trust in Vietnam compared to India.

The best business is business with pleasure and compared to China, India's just a dirty, smelly, backwards, unpleasant place to be, full of religious nuts. Even if it makes financial sense, there's just no enthusiasm to set up shop in India. I'll tell you right now I'd rather be a millionaire in China than a billionaire in India.
If you're a billionaire in India, just build a dozen floor house or personal apartment like Ambani.

Worth nothing. There's no property in India I want to live in. There are no things in India I want to own. There are no places in India I want to go. There are no women in India I want to date. There are only 2 thoughts that go through my mind in India: 1. Where is that smell coming from? 2. Get me the hell out of here ASAP!

Basically, having a lot of money in India is like driving a Lamborghini/Ferrari through a swamp.

China needs to open markets where people have no good domestic alternatives. There's a lot of better quality/non-staple food that can be imported.

I honestly find most of the meats served in China are from low quality sources unless you pay the exorbitant premiums. This is unnecessary, and unhealthy. Demand greatly exceeds supply, thus it wouldn't really hurt domestic producers to open up the meats/seafood market completely.

No Chinese should be paying 2x US prices for protein sources. Kids need that meat.
